Sylvan entertainment
Sylvan entertainment is based in south Shropshire and covers Shropshire, Worcestershire, parts of Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Birmingham.
Sylvan are a brand new entertainment company situated in the West Midlands, the company may be new but the team are all seasoned professionals. Alexandra who heads up the children's entertainment side has previously worked as a children's entertainer in London for 10 years working for the biggest and most respected companies, entertaining at everything from top London venues to A-list parties to royalty (shhh she can't tell you who though!) as well as children's charity Rays of Sunshine.
2020 saw Alexandra leave London and move to the West Midlands with the intention of carrying on as an entertainer (however 2020 soon put a stop to that!) luckily parties are back and Sylvan are able to start delivering exceptional children's parties in the West Midlands.
We pride ourselves on having a team of professional actors who deliver slick and lively parties, all our costumes are hand made in the UK and add that extra level of professionalism that we pride ourselves on.
Another element that is important to us as a business across all mediums is environmental impact, the events industry is notoriously bad for creating a lot of rubbish and mess. Everything that our entertainers use that is single use is biodegradable (for instance stickers) and we use plant based bio degradable glitter as opposed to normal glitter which is plastic. These may seem like small things but once you account for multiple entertainers doing multiple parties every weekend the little things soon add up!

Children's parties
Sylvan Storyteller
Engaging and magical parties for 4-7 year olds.
They include magic, games, story telling, balloon modelling and bubbles.
Your entertainer will wear our signature handmade green and gold coat and will captivate the children whilst making sure the birthday child is made to feel extra special.
One entertainer can entertain up to 30 children, all you need to do is provide a venue, food (probably a cake!) and the entertainer will take care of the rest.

Character parties
Whether your child loves pirates, princess's or unicorns we can provide a character they will love for their party. Parties will follow the same format as a Sylvan entertainer but will be themed to suit each individual party.

**Price may be more if you are requesting an unusual character that requires a new costume to be made.
SEN and early years
Early years parties are suitable for ages 1-3. These parties will be quieter and more tactile involving singing, storytelling, games, bubbles and some magic. The tone will be calmer and more serene.
For SEN parties we will chat through what exactly your child's needs are and adapt our parties accordingly whether it be noise levels, removing balloons or adding in some more sensory activities. Makaton signing can be incorporated if required.
